Lada Iskra
One of the most anticipated new products from AvtoVAZ. The modern successor to the Lada Granta will be positioned in the budget segment and will enter the assembly line in the spring of 2025. In November, it was promised that the starting price of the Iskra would be from 1 million rubles, but what the price will be by the time the model goes on sale is still unknown.
The Iskra will be sold in both sedan and hatchback body styles, as well as in a cross-universal version. The car will be equipped with three engine options: the base version will have a 1.6-liter engine with a power output of 90 horsepower. It will be paired with a five-speed manual transmission. More expensive versions of the car will feature an engine of the same size but with a power output of 106 horsepower. In this case, the engine will work with a six-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
Lada Niva Sport
This fall, AvtoVAZ began testing a new version of its classic Niva SUV, now with the Sport designation. Currently, there are only prototypes of this model, but by 2025, a commercial variant of the Sport Niva will be available.
The main difference of this SUV from the regular Niva Legend will be a more powerful 1.6-liter engine from the Granta Sport. The specifications of this engine are still unknown, but insiders believe its output will be the standard 118 horsepower.
Crossover Lada B-Plus Cross
The vehicle that aims to become the main automotive novelty of 2025 in the Russian market is expected to be unveiled in about six months. The car is set to be presented to the public at the Economic Forum in St. Petersburg (SPIEF).
The basis of the "crossover," currently referred to as the B-Plus Cross (the production version will almost certainly have a different name), will be the Lada Vesta platform. The first modern crossover developed by AvtoVAZ engineers will have a high ground clearance, a turbo engine, and a continuously variable transmission, but the drive will be front-wheel only.
