Renault Grand Koleos Ranks Among the Top Five Most Popular Models in South Korea

In South Korea, the new Renault Grand Koleos, previously known as the Geely Monjaro, has quickly gained popularity among buyers. This model has already outsold well-known vehicles such as the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. Since its market debut in June, by November it has entered the top five among local cars, surpassed only by the Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Carnival, and Hyundai Sonata.

The Renault Grand Koleos is not a completely new development. It is an updated version of the Geely Monjaro with minor design changes. For instance, the French manufacturers retained the original front headlights and the unique interior feature — three screens on the front panel.

As for technical specifications, the Renault Grand Koleos offers both a traditional 2-liter gasoline engine with 211 horsepower and a hybrid setup with a power output of 245 horsepower. The hybrid system includes a 1.5-liter turbo engine, a 3-speed DHT transmission, and an electric motor. Buyers can choose between a 7-speed robotic gearbox or an 8-speed automatic transmission.

This car has already established itself in the Korean market as a reliable and stylish choice, combining modern technology and comfort.
